Ceramdis – Industrial Website with Craft CMS

Ceramdis GmbH from Elsau near Winterthur has been the Swiss address for high-performance ceramics for around 25 years: with its proprietary material CeSinit® – "Swiss Made Silicon Nitride" – as well as silicon carbide, aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide and other technical ceramics, the company manufactures customer-specific precision components and assemblies for the most demanding industries: from semiconductor manufacturing to analytical and laboratory technology to measurement and sensor technology.

Such an offering places high demands on the website: six materials with technical characteristics, six fields of application, a multi-level range of services from consulting to inventory management – all of this must be quickly findable and cleanly structured for engineers and buyers. This is exactly the structure we conceived, designed and implemented in 2024 as the new industrial website.

Craft serves as the CMS – ideal for structured B2B content: materials, fields of application and services are modelled as clearly defined content types that the Ceramdis team maintains itself. The complete site is bilingual (German and English) and grows with the company: new data sheets, news or trade fair dates are published in minutes.

The design translates the company's precision into a factual, technical visual language: dark blue as the lead colour, large-scale product photography of the ceramic components and tile-based overviews of material properties. The media section bundles data sheets, certificates, flyers and videos as the central hub for technical documentation – complemented by enquiry forms for a direct line to the sales team.

The result is a web presence that lives up to Ceramdis' engineering excellence: precisely structured, internationally accessible and independently maintained by the team.
