Pahl Commercial Kitchen Technology – Website with WooCommerce Shop

Pahl Grossküchentechnik und Gastroeinrichtungen AG has been at home in the gastronomy industry since 1963 – a family business in its second generation, led by Patrick Pahl, with headquarters in Dietikon near Zurich and branches in Holzhäusern-Risch near Zug and Schwarzenbach near St. Gallen. Restaurants, hotels, care homes and hospitals rely on Pahl: from planning and installation to the sale of leading brands such as Rational and Winterhalter, and a service department with on-call duty 365 days a year.

The website we developed maps this full range of services – as a combination of company presence and online shop. Technically, the site is built on WordPress with WooCommerce: service pages explain the maintenance, installation and hygiene offerings with clear icons and direct contact paths, while the integrated shop makes the range of around 470 products digitally available.

The product catalogue is tailored to professional buyers: categories such as the Rational iCombi family bundle equipment lines, product pages provide characteristics, technical data and documents for download. Orderable items such as hygiene and cleaning products go straight into the cart – consultation-intensive equipment instead leads to personal contact via a request-a-quote button. Exactly this mix of shop and quote path suits the capital goods business.

Visually, the site stays true to the blue and white brand world: large sliders showcase highlight products such as the iCombi Pro, a brand carousel presents the more than eighteen manufacturer partners, and imagery from gastronomy, hotels and large-scale catering makes the target groups visible.

The result is a platform that extends the long-established company into the digital space: products, services and consulting in one place – managed day to day by the Pahl team itself.
