Bezirks-Sparkasse Dielsdorf – Digital Relaunch of a Swiss Regional Bank
We had high expectations for the relaunch – after all, our website is the first point of contact with our bank for many customers. Sidora AG didn't simply implement what we ordered; they actively thought along and proposed solutions we wouldn't have come up with ourselves. The new entry navigation on the homepage impressed us in particular: our customers find their way around immediately, and the feedback has been consistently positive. Even after go-live they are there for us – straightforward, fast and reliable.
“As a cooperative bank, Bezirks-Sparkasse Dielsdorf has been firmly rooted in the Zürcher Unterland region for decades – with five branches from Dielsdorf to Rümlang. Its previous website, however, no longer reflected this rootedness and trustworthiness in a contemporary way. The brief: a complete relaunch that translates the values of a regional bank – closeness, reliability, competence – into a modern digital experience. The central challenge was to structure a complex product and information architecture (financing, investments, pension planning, accounts, five branch locations, news, downloads) so that customers find what they are looking for in seconds. Our solution: a unique navigation architecture developed specifically for the banking sector. Instead of a generic menu structure, the homepage greets visitors with «Grüezi, how may we help you?» and, through segmented quick-access paths (private clients, businesses, young people), offers the fastest route to the right product – intuitive and direct. Technically, we built the project on WordPress with Elementor and a fully custom theme design that uses not a single standard template. The seamless e-banking login integration directly in the navigation lets customers jump into digital banking without any media break. Integrated mortgage calculators and financial tools allow prospects to perform initial calculations directly on the website – a decisive factor for lead generation in the mortgage business. We paid particular attention to nFADP compliance: in the financial sector, data protection is not a nice-to-have but existential. Cookie management, privacy-by-design principles and secure Swiss hosting were implemented from the outset. Responsive design ensures that all functions – including e-banking access and financial calculators – work flawlessly on smartphone and tablet. Since launch, we have supported Bezirks-Sparkasse Dielsdorf with ongoing maintenance, security updates and support – most recently with the communications for the rollout of the new digital banking platform in March 2026.”Bezirks-Sparkasse Dielsdorf
