Wumex – Digital Operating System for Everyday Order

Wumex is a digital operating system that brings order to everyday life – for individuals, families and anyone who wants to manage their most important information in one secure place. From documents, finances, insurance, passwords and vehicles to subscriptions and inventory: Wumex unites more than 12 modules in a single platform. The integrated AI assistant «AI Hana» ensures that staying organised never feels like work.

The challenge of this project was exceptional: it was not about a website or an online shop, but about building a complete SaaS platform from the ground up – backend, frontend, PWA, native mobile app and a marketing landing page that communicates the product convincingly. Every module has its own data models, permission logic and user interactions. The architecture had to be scalable from the very start in order to grow with an expanding user base and future modules.

We built the backend on Laravel – robust, maintainable and with a clean API architecture that serves both the web application and the mobile app. The frontend is based on Vue.js and Nuxt, styled with Tailwind CSS and complemented by Alpine.js for interactive micro-components. The platform can be used as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and is additionally available as a native app for iOS and Android – a true multi-channel experience.

Particular attention was paid to the security architecture: Wumex manages highly sensitive data – passwords, financial information, insurance policies, personal documents. Swiss hosting, end-to-end encryption, Swiss data-protection compliance (nFADP) and privacy by design were not options but fundamental requirements. The security section «Security is standard – not an add-on» on the landing page reflects exactly the technical reality we implemented.

With over 1,740 beta users and 87% positive ratings, Wumex has proven its product-market fit. For us as an agency, this project was proof that we don't just build websites and shops, but can accompany complex digital products from the very first line of code all the way to the app-store launch.
